Terms of purchase

The service

Merkhia is a web app to manage costs, prices, orders and the organization of pastry businesses. It is used with an account (email with a code, no password). The Free plan has no end date.

Plans and prices

The prices, limits and features of each plan are those published on this website when you sign up. They are paid in advance yearly. Discount codes apply only to the first purchase and only to the first year; after that it renews at the plan’s regular price.

Taxes: if you are a consumer living in the European Union, the price you see already includes your country’s VAT. If you are a business, prices exclude taxes and the applicable ones are added; businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT number pay no VAT (reverse charge). Outside the EU, your country’s taxes may apply. You always see the total before paying.

Invoices

You receive an invoice by email with every payment. If you are a business, enter your tax or VAT number when paying so it appears on it.

Renewal

The subscription renews automatically every year on the same plan unless you cancel before the renewal date. We remind you before each renewal.

Changing plans

Upgrading is immediate and you only pay the difference until your renewal date, which does not change. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal.

No right of withdrawal

Merkhia is digital content delivered immediately: as soon as you pay, your plan is active in the app. So, when you sign up, you tick a box asking to start using it straight away and accepting that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal. We confirm this by email after payment.

For this reason there are no refunds of amounts already paid. To try Merkhia before paying there is the Free plan, with no time limit.

If the law of your country gives you a right that cannot be waived, that right applies: write to us at soporte@merkhia.com.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account. The subscription will not renew and you keep your plan until the end of the paid year. Amounts already paid are not refunded.

If it is not renewed

When the paid period ends, the account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: you can view, use and export everything you had; you just cannot create beyond the Free limits.

GuIA with AI

The Premium and Cloud plans include 50* AI questions per month, which do not roll over. Answers are for guidance and based on your data: check important figures. It never gives recipes or quantities. Everything without AI (help, prepared questions and cooking mode) has no limit.

*The number of questions depends on the cost of AI, which may change. If we ever had to reduce it, we will email you at least 30 days in advance and the change will apply from your next renewal: what you have already paid for never changes. If it doesn’t suit you, you can cancel before renewing.

Your data

Your business data is yours and is stored on your device and in the folder you choose. You are responsible for keeping your backups.

Changes to these terms

If they change, we will let you know in advance. Price changes apply from the next renewal.
